The Southwold Pier

The Southwold Pier was built in 1900 but was partially destroyed by a gale in 1934. The Pier has been damaged and rebuilt over the years but a major restructure and refurbish was undertaken in 2001. The length was extended to 623 feet. The Pier was sold to a new owner (Stephen Bournes) in 2005 and he has turned the Pier into what you see today for all the family young and old to enjoy.
