Cottage Of History

Built in the 16th century at Flatford, East Bergholt, Suffolk, next to the River Stour is a beautiful example of a thatched cottage of that era. The cottage is open to the public by the National Trust and has an exhibition of paintings of the area by the famous 17th century artist John Constable. I fully recommend a visit to the area to spend the time to take in the cottage and the historic surrounds.
