Constable Country

This Photo represents one of the locations which the 17th century artist John Constable painted. The cottage and the surrounding area is very similar to the time the artist painted it in 1821. He made open air sketches of the location before he completed the works in his London Studio. The painting is called "The Hay Wain" and is on display in the National Gallery in London.
